How good are you guys with bugs?

Like when you see a spider, beetle, cockroach....in your house

Do you pick it up or run

If somebody is in the house do you get them to do it

On a scale of 1 to 5

1 - run, avoid, it's icky

2 - spray half a can while making scared noises and movements then use a vacuum, broom or other tool to move it outside

3 - spray/kill and then pick it up using something while always keeping distance and being careful not to touch it

4 - use a tissue or something to pick it up and not really care

5 - pick it up bare handed doa

This. The couple times a hornet has gotten in the house I'll use a shoe or whatever to not get stung but that's it. I mashed a cockroach with the bottom of my closed fist like Battletoads.

I turn into a huge wimp. One time I saw this huge ass spider at a girlfriends apartment. The little ****git locked eyes with me and reared up on its back 6 legs. I busted right through her and jumped right over the couch to get away. She wound up killing it. At the house I never, ever see them anywhere since the invasive Asian geckos came here. Never see scorpions either for some reason. If I see a cricket or roach which is also rare I shoo it out the door with a long broom so I don't have to get close. None of them really scare me, they just gross me out to the point of gagging.

Hate cockroaches, luckily didn´t had any in my last houses. Don´t really mind spiders if they stay on their webs on the roof, but just because there´s no big spiders where i live.

It’s a golden orb weaver aka banana spider. Their bite isn’t venomous and is basically a pinch if one does bite you.

Cockroaches I am a 0. When I was 7 I was showering and there was one directly above me on the ceiling and it fell, and I expected it to just drop and get me, but it fluttered and fell like a leaf and that made it 100x more terrifying for me. I saw stars when it fell.

Cockroaches also run up to THREE miles per hour. That's faster than 90% of the misc. Throw in potentially surviving nuclear warfare and they are absolutely horrific creatures.

The rest though, I do not care. We don't get Australia sized creatures, but your average spider, bee, beetle is a 4 for me. I don't bare hand them, but shimmy them into a cup or something and throw that cup into traffic

for your time

Kill em. **** it. I’ve had a spider get away from me and literally tore my room apart to find it. I don’t know how vindictive spiders are but I don’t need them returning with reinforcements.

Not in the slightest. I need to shoot him from a distance with a BB gun because I can. I could eat his whole family tree in 3.5 seconds, so fuk him and his 8 legs.

90% of the time 5 providing it's not poisonous. Sometimes I just can't pick the bug up with my hands without squishing it so I'll try a sheet of paper or something. Then toss it outside.

I picked up a big spider with my hands one time at work and a couple customers who saw that almost fainted (srs)

I squash with a paper towel or tissue.

All I get are stinkbugs and ants seasonally. Ants in Spring, stinkbugs in fall.
