Scanning in at the gym

Any of you boyos have to scan a QR code on your phone to get into your gym?

They have a front desk staff, but everybody just holds their phone up to the scanner to get in and the staff don’t really have to do anything.

I think I might start scanning my phone on the way out as well for the lols.

Yeah my gym has the same process.

Front desk staff I assume checks the computer as you're scanning in to see your details (payments up to date, no banned ect)

We have a key fob. 24 hour access at anytime fitness which is nice. My last gym was a 24 hour fitness and we had to use a finger pad which was annoying.
