It matters to me for this reason.

If he's white, he will be used to further justify all the modern racism we see against white people, which is already significantly more than any type of racism I'm seeing today.


If he's black, I'll already know that he doesn't represent black people, and that he must have had some serious mental issues. I don't think people will try to paint black people a certain way to the same degree, same applies to anything not black/white.


So.. for that reason, I hope he's not white, but I also (and primarily) hope this doesn't continue to happen.
