How many layers of Nachos is best? SRS

I tried to do 7 layer nachos once but it turned into something that wasn't really nachos anymore. [Plz respect SRS tag]

There's always love for the classic: Chips + Cheese
And nothing wrong with adding protein to that: Chips + Cheese + Protein (Chicken)
Mexican Nachos add refried beans to it but cut down on the amount of chips.
Super Bowl Nachos are legit best because you could throw a rack of ribs on chips and call them nachos, it's all fair game on Super Bowl Night (lolz @ non Americans)

Help me Misc, what kind of Nachos should I make manana?

I normally just do a cream cheese, salsa and cheddar on top. Use the chips for dipping.

No I make with cream cheese and it's really good.

9x13 pan
2 pkgs cream cheese softened spread on the bottom
1 jar salsa/spread over cream cheese
top with cheddar cheese
Bake on 425 for 20 min.
Serve hot with chips on the side.

I make it all the time and it's always a hit.

Best nachos IMO are beef, cheese and salsa. Maybe add some Serranos for a kick.

take full size chips (no broken ones)

single chip
single slice of cheddar
single jalapeno fresh is best for extra crunch, however pickled is good cause vinegar cuts fatty cheese.....

rinse repeat

toss in oven at 350 for 12-15
add sour cream or small dice of avocado for cooling effect

enjoy

thats a real nacho

Fukin retards itt.
, chiity nacho cheese in a can (same garbage that was so hhhnnngggg on nachos at the roller rink in 1990, or at any small town fair), one block of bagel cheese per can of chitty nacho cheese, one can of chitty canned chili per other cans, two cans of Rotel (always two no matter whatever mix) chit load of canned green chili or pickled jalapeno. Put it all in a pot and heat till the bagel cheese is melted and its all smooth.

Pour that onto a giant plate of Santitas.

Fn amatuer level gourmet. All the sportsball ppl love it, especially the women.

Lol
Srs tho. Thats good stuff. Get real crazy and put ramen noodles in it to go over the top.

Disappointed itt.

Ok, so Im guna assume you want to make nachos, instead of a dip. And the answer to the question of how many layers? 2.

Thin layer of tortilla chips. Put some melted cheese, beans, pre seasoned meat, peppers, whatever, spread it even, then add some shredded cheese. Another layer of chips on top. Repeat that for the 2nd layer. Heat it at about 375. Then you can add your salsa or guacamole or sour cream.

Nachos should be one layer with a precise amount of each topping per chip and no “covered” chips that end up naked.

One ingredient must be cheese

One ingredient should add spice

3 is standard amount of toppings, anything over 5 is too much. 1 is for children (just cheese)

Basic standard is cheese, beans, hot sauce

White people special: refried beans, grated cheddar, la Victoria spicy, black olive rings, sour cream

Stringy goodness: grated mozzarella or pepper jack, fried ground beef (with garlic or diced serranos if wanted, or cumin/coriander/chili powder). Then whatever you got green salsa is good, olives, cilantro, whatever, fuk squeeze some lime juice on it

Breakfast nachos. Wet scrambled eggs and chorizo, grated mozzarella, fried potato squares, charred cherry tomatoes.

Carnitas nachos, retried carnitas, black beans, mozzarella, corn salsa, cilantro/sour cream (6, but does cilantro even count?)

I guess you could do somthing stupid like blue cheese bechamel with braised short rib and carmalized shallots but I’m pretty over thinking of stuff now so ya.
