When did the entertainment industry become lazy AF?

20 years ago things were so different compared to today.

In TV land, usually if you had a favourite show, there would mostly be a new season every year of 24-26 episodes and you could set your watch to it.

Nowadays you get like 6-8 episodes per season of a show, and they come out, just whenever they feel like it, could be 18 months could be 2 years, whatever.

I feel like this started happening during the writers strike and never changed back

The games industry is even worse. Big franchises would release a new title every 2 or 3 years and it'd be excellent and polished.

Now the big franchises go 10 years without a new title, and when they do release one its a glitchy joke that takes them years to patch to a playable state.

Because all that hot fake tit chicks don’t want to kiss ass to be actresses anymore. They’d rather just post some bikini pics on IG and sell some topless pics on OF. Self-made sensation with half the work and one-tenth of the icky stuff for potentially false promises.

Things changed post 2012 man

I've been talking about it for several years

The last groundbreaking games were Skyrim and GTA 5, nothing has been close since
