D3
Vitamin C
ZMA

That's about it. Anything else is just fluff. I use pre-workout, but mostly because I train at 5AM, and I just like the tastes.

This. I don’t even take whey or creatine. I’ll add garlic to the list for blood flow/immunity

I remember being in my 20s and buying all these ridiculous supplements. Gakic, Anator P-70, All these "post workout" drinks........ I wish information was as easily available back then. I cringe at the money I wasted on that stuff.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have an older lifting parter who steered me away from the supplement industry early on haha

LMAO at Gakic. Do you remember the original formula? If you took enough of it you would go through the roof.

Most health "suppliments" are worthless. There are some great vitamins/minerals/herbs that are beneficial, and I second zinc and quality vitamin C, D3, K2.

orange Triad really helped me out a lot. I started taking them in my early 40's and the trace elements it has must make a difference for oldcels like me. The digestive and joint support in them work really well, too.

There is only one supplement worth it's cost. We are not allowed to discuss it here.

“The key nutritional aspects are earth-grown nutrients. That’s real food. That’s whole food. I like to say no pills, no powders, no potions. We don’t need that garbage. We need real food. Real food has sustained life on this planet since the dawn of time. Wild caught lean meats – nothing preserved, no chemicals, lots of vegetables, I’m a huge produce fan – because that is life. And then complex carbohydrates in the form of quinoa, brown rice, sweet potatoes – things like that. And we eat! I make sure they’re constantly eating a tremendous amount of highly usable foods.” – Mike Dolce

Super cheap.
Two years ago I was drinking two energy drinks a day. Did for almost two full years. Utterly pathetic. Now I just take a single caffeine pill every day. One of the best decisions I ever made.

This is the best deal for your money, imo

Supplement wise, Vitamin D and protein, obviously. CARNITINE! I also seem to get something from 5-HTP.

Animal Flex and Animal PM are actually very solid products.

Other than that, just fish oil and Vitamin D works well for me. Whole Foods sells a chelated liquid iron that has helped my ferritin levels.

I probably get plenty of vitamin C from vegetables, but I don't eat fruits (avocados don't count). I do want to take calcium though, and K2 also, but I heard K2 can give you heart flutters which scares me. I also read if you take K2 with calcium that doesn't happen though. Not sure how much to take and which form, Life Extension sells one as high as 45,000 mcg, I don't think you can OD on K2. They have one with mk 7 and mk4 in one too.

I work Mon-Friday and I always take it about 6:30am. Lifting isn't until later in the evening, so no caffeine pills then. Sometimes during a weekend lift, I will substitute the pre-workout drink with a caffeine pill, however I always drink carnitine with it. The combo is incredible. Highly recommend a concentrated carnitine. Sometimes I'll mix a bit with water and drink it at work for extra energy.

Non-workout days I still have to take caffeine otherwise I'm pretty tired and will probably get a headache late afternoon. inb4 'you should take a break from caffeine' lolll i know i know
