dating at 34 is depressing

i wish i had found somebody 7-8 years ago and at least had a kid even if marriage didn't work out.
Currently seeing some chick who i know isn't going to work out but stringing along just i don't feel lonely for a bit longer, all while suffering anxiety all the time due to said chick. Meanwhile facing so much passive pressure from parents/family to find someone and start a family. Biggest regret is not trying harder to find a decent chick at 25-28. I know misc says sloots gonna sloot, but i know people who are happy and raising a nice family. This sucks bros.

You don’t know if those people are “happily” raising their families.

Nobody is happy in this life.

I had all that chit at one point, and I was miserable.

Stop being deluded.

I don't know man. I would at least like to give it a chance. Going through life being lonely and miserable is no fun either.

Don't worry op. I'm 34 and single. It's not as bad as you think.

I was in a 5 year LTR before, we met when I was 27, got engaged after 3 years, broke up before getting married. I dont consider it a failure. Much better than getting married back then and having kids and a messy divorce after.

I've been single for two years now and while dating during a pandemic can be hard, I've met plenty of girls and got a second chance at life. Got to learn about myself and take my life back. If you have a decent job, your own place, take care of yourself, you will be a catch to most women. Just have to find one you can see a long term future with.
If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary

You're lonely because you're just going through the motions. Find something you're passionate about. A woman will not make you unlonely if you're already lonely without one.

Instead of being sad make something good out of it. 30s is the best time for a man to be single.

All my friends are married and miserable. Some are divorced, losing more than half their paycheck to alimony and child support. They envy my life of being able to change out women every other month with no responsibilities. I get to enjoy all the banging, none of the nagging.

As a single guy, my value only goes up. Women on the other hand, their value only goes down as they age. I know guys in their 40s that are just now starting a family with females half their age. Yeah, it's great to be a young dad and keep up with their energy but I'd rather provide financial stability to my child, setting up a legacy for them and all my future generations to be successful. If I had kids young, I doubt I would be where I am today.

If your happiness depends on having a woman you've already failed at life no matter what age you are fukin SRS

They are meant to be a compliment to your life not the goal.

Being single is fukin awesome srs.

brb do whatever the fuk you want
brb fuk whoever you want
brb talk to whoever you want
brb go wherever you want, whenever you want
brb no sloot mindgames and headaches driving you nuts
brb no fear of losing half your chit if she wakes up and suddenly hates you
brb all the money you earn goes to you or family
brb my friends have curfews and schedules determined by gf/wife
brb my friends' gfs/wives budget their money (just lol)
brb I'm an uncle so I get all the benefits of having a kid without any of the responsibility

Feelsgoodman. The only reason to be really depressed over not having a woman is if you really wanted kids. However, seeing the stories of dudes that get divorce raped, I'd rather not have kids at all than go through that chit

Says the coper incel.

Don't think because you ghosted then reappeared makes you different then before.

Every day from you was some cringe thread about being a autist trying to learn how to talk to people.

Fooking misc I swear. It doesn't matter if you're 34 and a manlet. You'll get someone srs. Just put yourself out there on tinder etc there's heaps of girls looking for someone to feel like taking care of them srs. Also, cheap rub n tugs in the meantime, gym sessions all the time helps lots. Place yourself in a predominantly female job like retail, bars, restaurants, medical etc easy peasy. I'm a manlet and 34, I've always got milfs trying to hook up and flirting and then trying to get me to phuk their daughters srs it's like a fetish for them to root me through their daughters srs also they love grabbing my arms, my gf is heaps taller than me, no phuks given at all. I just call her giraffe no hate. You guys can do it. You all have the potential srs just need to not even believe in yourself but realize the truth that girls always want someone to take care of em.

I do not think many feel "happy" in marriage.

It is a battle because of how much worse the alternative looks, which only so many grasp when they subscribe to marriage. The marriages probably mostly stay together for external reasons like children.

Very few really internalize the alternatives and view marriage as a project in a sea of tragedy.
