Is there a job that exists that pays ~100k thats not supervisory/managerial?

and I mean a "real" job, not some highly volitile fly-by-night social media nonsense (youtube/twitch) or OF.

My current job pays well, but in my field I also have to deal with a ton of bullchit on the side like timecards and scheduling and extinguishing petty "he-said, she-said" HS drama. I just want to clock into a building do some work and go home and not deal with quarterly meetings and being "on-call."

Most of my tradie friends who work commercially in big cities clear 100k as electricians and plumbers.

Cops and firefighters in certain regions of the US easily clear 100k.

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

software engineer, can make 100k+ working remote, a lot more than 100k in SF/Seattle/NY at big companies (~200k starting at big tech)

ultrasound technician/sonographer is good money for the schooling too i heard, almost 6 figures

Im an IT systems engineer, do networking, security, virtualization and the like. All the SEs on my team clear 100k+ and no management, unless you count project management which any senior level job in any field will be doing.

I've slowly grown to have a big interest in IT/software engineering, but my current degrees and experience are so far removed from IT I don't want to start schooling from scratch and have to start outat some measly 52k/year due to a lack of experience.

ultrasound/sonographer are more up my alley in terms of current healthcare experience, but again, the top earners are either traveling every 6 months or live in the Bay Area where $120k is still paycheck to paycheck (if you want to live in a safe neighborhood).

Hours suck sometimes, but easy job on the body and can be fun at times.

In California a lot of law enforcement jobs will pay pretty close to 6 figures. I do unarmed security at a casino in California and the armed guards get paid around $28-$35 an hour and with overtime you can get over $100k pretty easy.

radiology tech and ultrasound tech are gonna be your best bets for healthcare without many years of training

Maybe look into software sales, if you wanna go the tech route without having to learn a bunch of tech skills in depth. keywords: 'sales engineer', 'solutions engineer' etc. at a tech company. Pays well, but it sounds like you want a more anti-social job so it might not be a good fit for you.
