Wife's family making us take COVID tests before Christmas.

Looks like I am one false positive away from a nice quiet Christmas by myself.

Everyone vaxxed, ten people max as per ontario regulations...




This is probably pissing me off more than it should.

Are they aware they asymptomatic spreading isn’t a thing? It was a false narrative that came out but since then studies show it was a hoax. They should really just tell people stay home if sick. Two people with no symptoms aren’t going to spread it to each other. End of story

Yeah one of my best friends just went through this. His brother-in-law (wife's Liberal brother) and family came to visit his house for dinner party and as a stipulation he wanted everybody in my friend's family including my friend to get COVID tested before he would bring his family over. My buddy just did it. It. He sent me a picture of all six tests. Just do what you have to do to keep everybody happy. Roll w the punches.

My take was that asymptomatic positive tests were false positives.

The issue is, her family is the first stop in three christmasses, and about 2000 km of driving all across Ontario.
