Need credit card advice

Hello and happy new year you bunch of degens,

I love you wild ass homos and I hope you all have a kickass 2022. I'm srs. I may give you crap but I do wish blessing upon all of you.

I need suggestions. My wife and I paid off all of our debt, long story I won't get into, but we have decent credit scores. Our scores all hover in the 700's. We want to start taking advantage of some of the perks that some of these cards offer.

-we don't travel hardly, so travel perks aren't needed
-we mostly will use it to buy groceries and fuel once a week

Will rep for suggestions

Citi double cash mastercard for everyday purchases - 2% cash back

Cost visa because Costco only takes Visa and 2% back at Costco, 4% on gas whether you buy t costco or anywhere else, I think 3% on dining and travel but I usually just use my citi for everything other than gas or costco, but the cash back comes in a costco gift certificate.

If it's strictly for Groceries/Gas...

Amex Blue Cash for 6% back on Grocery Store purchases and 3% back on gas

If you will make purchases outside of that very consistently, go Citi Double Cash 2% back as mentioned above.

If you don’t travel pretty much this. Travel and cash back cards are really your only options.

Too bad cause I have a 5 card rotation for travel and it makes trips pretty awesome. Always love dolling out advice on travel cards.

Came in to post this for your situation.
$99 annual fee for that card. Just make sure the grocery store you shop qualifies. Meijer is good for it, Walmart is not.

I need more info to give a good answer to give the best set up.

Do you use the same gas station (Mobil, Shell etc?)

What do you want in perks? Just cash back?

Can you handle more than 1 credit card?

Do you get groceries at the supermarket or wal-mart/Whole Foods etc)
The misc is full of a bunch of simp ****ots

I suppose, shouldn't be a problem

You could get a Kroger card for your gas and then use a Citi custom cash for groceries (5% back). Citi has a higher grocery limit then the Kroger card.
