Yeah ultimately I think blame should be placed on the car jackers for all things that happened in pursuit. Not a bootlicker but it we want cops actually enforce laws against violent criminals then we shouldn't be charging them for things that happen doing that... If he was texting or speeding then it'd be a different story.

Those roads are way too tight for a high speed chase. I would've called the chase off as the Captain. Mail the victim a new Toyota Yaris and tell them to get a better alarm system because this aint it, chief.

also, there are no bonus points for wrecking or driving erratically. very easy to end up in a situation like the cop here because you let "get-there-itis" trump everything else.
