Anyone Doing Ultra Miami This Year?

I’ve been to approx 20 festivals, but planning on going to this one on my own for the first time. Reason is, is my friends and I are doing EDC Las Vegas, but they can neither afford or get time off of work to do both.

This is the line up:

- Ex British Army

- Manchester United

- Tomorrowland 2014/15/16/17/19/22/23
- Ultra Miami 2016/18/22/23
- EDC Las Vegas 2022
- EDC Orlando 2023

I'm excited for the media to screech about the Ultra variant for the 12 weeks that follow.

I’ve never even heard of SMF. That one appears to be in May whereas Ultra is in March anyway.

Yeah pretty hyped it's back in Bayfront Park this year, should have never left in the first place it's the GOAT location for Ultra.

If they would have added Prydz, Above and Beyond plus a couple of psytrance DJs lineup would have been close to a 10 for me srs.

Yeah I'll be there, had tickets from like 2 years ago before COVID so they just rolled over to this year lol.

Tomorrowland is king but honestly would rank Ultra Miami at Bayfront as 3rd behind Tomorrowland and EDC Vegas.

There are still good less known DJs but they don't really get booked for big festivals so unfortunately the sound doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

Tomorrowland is probably number one for me, however there’s just something so unique about Ultra, in Miami at Bayfront Park. The backdrop is stunning and there’s no other festival like it. Can’t comment on EDC until May.

I don’t take drugs at festivals, srs (plus drug testing at work anyway). But the music, visuals, etc.

I had a few friends that went. They said that the sloots seemed to particularly cling hard to their groups

And that it was so crowded you could hardly do anything. True?

There's maybe 4 headliners would like to see again, and Riot (Black tiger sex machine's "War" would be wild to hear live). Gonna have to pass.

If you're going just for the sloots there's better places, it is a bit harder to pick them up there as compared to maybe a bar but it's definitely doable and not impossible just takes a different strategy. You gotta somewhat like this type of music though or you're gonna have a bad time.

Not really that crowded unless you go into the crowd lol, you can stay towards the back middle of any stage and you'll be fine unless it's some crazy headliner.

Like any festival, the popular stages can get congested at times, especially if it’s a main headliner. But it’s always easy to just move away from the stage to the back/sides or go to a different stage completely. One thing I’ll say about Ultra though, is that the Asian’s are annoying af. They barge their way through the crowd to get to the front and there’s usually a train of about 20 of them.
