Old news. Anesthesia is highest paid profession everywhere. They have remarkable brains, not only highly intelligent, but they possess excellent social skills, and perform well under extremely stressful situations. They may have high insurance overheads so that's something to consider.

There are a bunch that don't have listed Median wages and are being missed by the sort but should clearly be up near the top:



Also many things not appreciated in these numbers, ie executive compensation is often largely not in normal wages

lol at anesthesiologists making $15 per hour more than Nurse Anesthetists. more like $100 more

sure, but they are covered by average hourly wage and average wage, as you have done


also, yes there are some contextual factors that this data cannot account but it is nevertheless high quality

plus, the outlier contextual events like judges and chief executives - this is not even a career but end-of-career top <5% achievement that many people won't even come close to
