Do they even exist? I wanna see if I can make those 3 Lee Harvey Oswald shots in 6 seconds. Granted I won’t have a moving target to shoot at, I at least wanna see if I could get off three shots with that clunky bolt action rifle and hit the targets from the ranges he allegedly shot Kennedy from.

I’ve been firing right handed bolt action rifles for a while as a lefty and am used to reaching over with my trigger hand to cycle the rounds but it’s probably too hard to do it in 6 seconds that way. Let alone doing it with a lefty rifle.

That weapons engineer at the end hit all 3 targets in 5.2 seconds. Goddamn...

Just lmao at Jesse Ventura saying “Slam it? What a piece of sh!t” when handling the rifle.

Just called my local gun store and they don’t make them for lefties. Only have them for righties.

I can cycle a right handed bolt action pretty fast but 3 shots in 6 seconds? Idk if it’s worth the buy.

Oswald was a lefty and had the butt in his left shoulder and ran the bolt with his right hand.

That's how he got the shots off so quick.

Many right handed shooters have left handed bolt guns that they shoot prone only.

Is that really true? I shoot right handled bolt actions like Barry Pepper’s character Jackson, the sniper in Saving Private Ryan where he reaches around with his left hand to cycle the round.

I can cycle a round with my right hand and yes it can be quicker but it feels weird to me.

I’m a left handed/armed shooter and also left eye dominant (LED) which matches up great for semi auto rifles with scopes.

Maybe it’s better if I buy the right handed Carcano Oswald had and use it the exact same way so this might work out.

Gotta rep you for that

There is a bunch of debate as to whether Oswald was a lefty or not. However, the only way to get the shots off in the time he (supposedly) did, is to shoot from your left shoulder and run the bolt with your right. He was (supposedly) resting on the window ledge.

But that weapons engineer got the shots off in 5.2 seconds hitting all three targets. And he was a righty. So it is possible.

They say Oswald was only a marksman which is the lowest you can be, but who knows how good he got with tons of hours of practice.

For the record I think it’s possible but not probable. With the whole magic bullet theory and all the other evidence that doesn’t add up to Oswald being the lone shooter.
