Actually looks pretty cool, but I think it will really pop when the paint fades a bit and has that 'set' look. Maybe it's just my bias for all things rustic

Luckily I won’t be selling it. Was my dream house. Sits on 11 acres, 3500 sqft, 1 neighbor separated by about 7 acres. Only bitch is, no public utilities outside of internet.

Maybe, maybe not. Alot of home buyers don't don't keep the decor, and buy a place planning to remodel. In NZ anyway.

The ceiling, room layout & wood stove are interesting, staircase too
3500 sqft sitting on a decent chunk of property. 18 ft ceiling in the living room, 14 foot ceilings in the entryway and upstairs hallway, 1 bedroom has a 14ft ceiling as well. 3 bed, two bath. Wood stove is fully functional and I use it as a main source of heat during the winter lol.

Very contemporary style. House was built by a private contractor.

Dude it’s funny you say that because it still drives me crazy. Sectional is too big to rotate to “properly” face the TV which is annoying. It bumps right to the fireplace. But honestly in person, the TV really isn’t too high. Does look high in the pics tho.
