Who the fuk wrote this? Episode 6 STILL introducing new plot lines that you will never get to see resolved. It is sickening that this season was obviously written in the hopes that someone buys the rights to the show.

I don't think I've ever been more dissatisfied with a series finale.

Love The Expanse but for some reason the first 3 episodes of S6 put me to sleep. Read your spoiler and prob won't watch the rest lol. I thought S4 was absolute trash but S5 was awesome.

Yeah, it just felt incredibly rushed. Seasons 2-3 >>> anything after, even if the budget was less.

Honestly show goes to chit after Thomas Jane dies. Or his ghost stops appearing. There's a handful of decent episodes after that but no more mystery or magic. It feels mundane and slogs through, with a bunch of useless baby mama drama with inaros and his kid and the ugly sloot single mom in space.

The pet cemetery plot line had me raging 2 eps in. Had to skip after that.

Filip with no clear story arc was also dumb.

Not blatantly so, but the most macho character is some butch Samoan girl. Most of the power players are female. The main bad guy is a dopey fool and the main protagonist is a super soy boy. The only alpha male is the mechanic but there's a few episodes that make him out to be some sort of ghey sex slave in the recent past.

Thing is it starts off great with Thomas Jane as a cool space detective, but once he's gone after season 3 the show goes to chit.

Yeah I kept watching but I was like why the fuk are we focused on this random reincarnation plotline that we obviously will never see come to fruition? Really annoying.

You could tell they didn't know how the handle the Filip situation.Amos was trafficked as a youngin that's made pretty clear in the episodes where we learn that even after they invent space travel it never gets better for Baltimore. Holden and Alex weren't too bad as the main males and Ashford was a pimp.

Once it became about Marco though they kind of lost the plot and it just became a jumbled mess. Stealth tech went the way of the dodo for some reason even though in CQC ship battles there was obviously still a use for it. And the "Ring Entities" was as weak of a Dues Ex that I've seen recently.

havent watched ep 6 yet but i hate the whole belter story line. i couldnt give a chit about some african space terrorists. I want them to go through the rings and find aliens and wage war or something. Would have been amazing to see the martian navy go up against a single alien ship and the fleet get battered

I want to finish the book series before making a final judgment. Many of the complaints about the show could simply be following the narrative. For my part, in the current age of shows that are continually getting started and dropped after one or two seasons, I think this show did a pretty good job completing a full story arc before getting cancelled. I do agree that introducing the plot line on Laconia had absolutely no value and took away time they could have spent on the main plot. I also got tired of the overacting by Marco. I also agree that the highlight of the series was in the beginning with detective Miller and the protomolecule. The convergence of the two storylines there was really good.
