Iced Coffee > Regular Coffee [srs]

Fuark brahs today it was a rather sunny and hot day for January London, UK and a regular hot black Americano made me sweat too bad.

Decided to try a no-equipment iced coffee and it was amazing.

Iced coffee from now on dead srs.



*Not cold brew btw, the difference is cold brew must be left in the fridge for 12-24H, I want something as convenient as regular.

It’s not just that, where it’s soaked it cold water it’s way smoother. Hot water makes coffee bitter so normal iced coffee will never taste as good.

Any ice coffee I have seen at grocery stores were full of phosphates and other additives. Starbucks version being the best tasting but with the most schit in it.

Taste, yes. It's potentially messier, takes up a lot of real estate in your fridge and takes 24+ hours... so it loses out bigly on convenience.

Flavor-wise, yeah, a lot of the bitterness of it goes away by cold brewing.

make it yourself


just instant coffee 2 tsbp in a cup, 2 tsbp hot water to mix it in

add chilled water or milk up to 75% of a mason drinking jar or a large cup and then 3 ice cubs
