There wasn't really a great movie that I really enjoy last year. Pretty underwhelming overall.

The only one that seem to hold my attention was the night house, until the revelation which was meh. It was great until then, if you like atmospheric films.

Dune got me excited for the 2nd part

Last Night In Soho was very atmospheric thriller. It kept me glued. I was intrigued and felt the 60's was very classy.

The Suicide Squad was just pure fun. It's a James Gunn movie.

If you like the anime series

The Rebuild of Evangelion movies are an alternate version of the original anime series.

I do suggest you watch the original anime series first - Neon Genesis Evangelion

I like the 4th Rebuild Evangelion movie because he finally comes out of his depression and grows up/matures.

Rei is a clone but she lives among the locals and learns to be a functional person/member of society.

Earilier in the movie, Mari covers Shinji's eyes and says, "Girl with glasses and big boobs...who is it?" but then he's like "Leave me alone"

Then later in the movie, she covers his eyes again and says the same thing but this time he becomes flirty back and she tells him, "Oh you're all grown up now."

I've seen the whole Evangelion series and End of Evangelion.

The ending was off so I was wondering if they redeemed the fans of the series with this film. Thanks bro!
