Fatherhood Is Kind Of A Big Deal

In B4
Spoiler!
- "women today suck"
- "world too broken for children"
- "marriage law is unfair to men"
- "parenthood is selfish"

This isn't new information, or original to me. But I think it doesn't get much public attention.

A healthy society of nuclear families with present engaged fathers seems to be foundational to prosperity and general well being.
Fathers are essential to the flourishing of our country.Having a father in the home dramatically reduces a myriad of harms. Children with fathers in the home, for example,do better in school, have better health outcomes, and are less likely as adolescents to carry guns or deal drugs or end up in prison, among other beneficial effects. Fathers also protect their children from becoming vulnerable to other increasing threats today, such as human traffickers. Particularly with the increased amount of time children have been spending online because of COVID-19 and virtual learning, traffickers are preying on America’s children through the Internet at alarming rates. Fathers are the ones on the front lines in protecting their children from these threats. A father in the home also protects children from other social harms.

Unfortunately, there is a father-absence crisis in America today. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, 18.3 million children, one in four, live without a biological, step-, or adoptive father in the home. Consequently, there is a “father factor” in nearly all social ills facing America today. Many people believe that family structure doesn’t really matter, as long as children are cared for and loved by someone, anyone. However, research on father absence shows that the old adage “Correlation does not imply causation” does not apply to the effects of father absence on children. In other words, according to absent-father statistics, father absence is to blame for many of our most intractable social ills affecting children.
https://www.nationalreview.com/2021/06/fathers-matter/

Fatherless sons are the most strongly affected, but if matters for daughters too.

https://boycrisis.org/
One study found that about one-third of girls whose fathers left the home before they turned six ended up pregnant as teenagers, compared with just 5 percent of girls whose fathers were present throughout their childhoods. The research on this topic suggests that girls raised by single mothers are less likely to be supervised and more likely to engage in early sex and to end up pregnant compared with girls raised by their own married parents. Other studies have found that teens without fathers are twice as likely to be involved in early sexual activity and seven times more likely to get pregnant as an adolescent. However, the study found that higher-quality father–daughter relationships were a protective factor against engagement in risky sexual behaviors.
Sadly we seem to be in a spiral of cause and effect now where children who grow up fatherless aren't prepared to form their own healthy two parent families.

If you want to be a good father, OR you are an experienced parent and are willing to mentor younger men navigating fatherhood without a father of their own to seek advice from, there is an organization for that:

https://fathermatters.org/

A lack of a central male role model for many children is a big problem.

^^^
IMO it's time to add "father" to the list of important male roles. Grandpas count too. And uncles.

It's well known a lot of single mothers live by the "it takes a village to raise a child" mindset, so obviously even women know they can't do it themselves. Plus boys who grow up raised by single mothers are why we have so many FAs and bitchboy simps in society.

What needs to happen overall to correct the course is men need to keep their sicks in their pants, stop putting pussy in a pedestal and giving women ultimate power over mate selection. Properly vet your woman before you do marry or have sex with her. Hold yourself to a higher standard with women and don't let society tell you you are a loser if you can't pull women and get regular sex

Lack of fathers are a major cause of crime rates, lack of educational success and the cause of the Country crumbling at it's foundation.

How about two mother childhoods? Can one of the women identify as a father.

I'm sure it fuarks things up. Not that I think it's as remotely common as Hollywood makes it out to be.

But on to the point of the thread, yeah I absolutely agree fatherhood is a big deal.

men don't have the say in this matter. the rights and custody have been given to women in western countries. women break up 80% of marriages.

you have to marry a virgin or a low body count female that can still pairbond.

that is my only advice.

It's not an easy job if you strive to do it correctly, and correctly differs for so many of us.

No doubt there is a chit ton of evidence based support for the nuclear family and role sharing.

Hard for kids to assimilate what a father figure is if it isn't being presented habitually and daily.

Yes there are aspects of the system that are stacked in womens’ favor, but men absolutely have a say in the matter. Men should be more careful with sex and not help contribute to the tons of unplanned pregnancies every year. And it is both men and women that are way too quick to end a marriage instead of working to make it last for the sake of everyone involved(most importantly the kids). It’s a society/culture thing(which means both men and women). It isn’t just a woman thing.

yet the white cuck voted for female rights, gave away all the power to the female in the case of a divorce, resulting in today's staggering divorce rates INITIAITED by WOMEN so they can create this single mother epidemic

i actually think FA situation is worse with the father around. Asian boys have the most fathers around and they are the most FA. whites are in the middle.

Black men are the least likely to be FA, 80% of them are born in fatherless households.

Why? father makes the son beta. A fatherless male is more alpha because his spirit hasn't been broken by his father's discipline/bullying.

single mothers actually raise more robust men. Most of the top fighters are fatherless. Fathers will make the son submit.

but being alpha isn't necessarily good in today's society.

Pretty sure it’s lower than that, but either way that stat doesn’t tell the whole picture. If a guy is repeatedly abusive if she supposed to just stick with him? Or if he constantly cheats, blows money and doesn’t fulfill his obligation?! If a guy is going those things then he obviously isn’t trying to make it work from his side of things, so they are still both at fault(and it’s quite possible he could be more at fault even though she served the papers). Either way, not trying to derail this thread by arguing with you about how bad you think women are.

One trait I am decent at is long range vision.

In my 20's I was doing pretty well for my age. I made a few committments to myself

* no way would I consider getting married until i became financially independent of a job
* no way would I consider marrying a woman without strong traditional family values
* no way would I merely have kids and being around simply wasnt good enough for me. I wanted to be present, I wanted to give them my time. I knew it would take many years of constant attention and thought provoking interaction to raise men of value. I had a lot of great influences in my life starting with my father.
* no way would we try to raise a family that wasnt in close proximity to grand parents

All of those criteria had to be met before I would consider marriage and children.
I dont feel people think about things deeply enough to chart a path and strategy for their future. They just sort of "wing it" then wonder why Bobby is a POS when hes a teenager.

Dude, STFU already and let the men discuss real issues and perspectives here.
Maybe go back to the threads talking about pimping women and eating cow fat.

If you really are for real, you have your own issues to be dealing with as a father and should not be giving out advice here.

You are right, there is a very slim window and many things have to line up. I wasnt willing to do it any other way.
So I had to lay down the plan of things in my control to get there.

First 7 figures liquid by 30 was one milestone.
I started dating my now wife at 32. I met her through family (our culture still abides by social classes back from the mother land)
We got married and started a family and we moved from the city I was living in back to my home town.
We are 25 minutes away from my wife's mother and I bought my mom a house down the street (7 minute walk) so she could spend as much time with the kids as she desired.

Just ignore him and move on. Either he really is that big of a POS, or for some reason trolls a forum and plays pretend for some weird reason. Either way it’s pretty sad.

Rules and exceptions. If you’re giving advice to general society then the advice should be generalised and be the rule, in general, anecdotal doesn’t count.

Don’t touch wild snakes cos they could kill you.

That is good advice. Even though SOME snakes are harmless.

is it more alpha to obey orders through ur entire adulthood and call another man a boss as he gives you tasks?

or is it more alpha to go out there rob, steal and kill?

you may not like it.... but it is more alpha to be the 2nd. it defines masculinity. it isn't masculine to sit in a class room and have some karen or boomer preach to you for hours on end, brainwashing you.

with that said, yes women are attracted to the innately more masculine ..... which is why those criminal types will procreate. they are more low inhibition and free which is what women are naturally attracted to.

FA and incel problem is actually created by fathers. All those FA incels have fathers. they are the darkside of fatherhood.

High inhibition trait is almost entirely created by fathers because he beats those inhibitions into his kids. see asian kids.
