Misc scientists, here's an interesting meta-analysis on all-cause mortality
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3441...k%20of%20death.
Cliffs:
- examines relationship between number of steps during the day and all-cause mortality
- 12% lower per 1000 steps taken a day
- 66% reduction in all cause mortality walking 16K steps vs 2700 (or 3 fold risk)
For perspective, all cause mortality is 80% higher in smokers and obese people. Taking 6K steps a day vs 16K carries a 126% higher mortality
get to walking boyos! yall get your 16K in?
