Is the NFL scripted?

I think it is, especially with Tom Brady winning at "home" during Covid. They are technically classified as sports entertainment like the WWE. Would love yo hear some honest opinions on this.

The weird part about this topic is if you present this to some 40yr old boomer suburban cuck they get so angry and want to fight you over it 😂

I like football but the NFL is so blown out of proportion its ridiculous. Some people act like its life and death. Its a game.

Went to a Titans game a few weeks ago and it's pretty cool how much of a spectacle they make out of it. The entrances and jumbo screens etc. As far as the actual game goes idk. One guy got his knee fked up bigly

not scripted, but they are nothing more than a business to make money.

Any team could be the greatest at any time by paying the best athletes, but they don't care about winning. Half of making money is saving money (employee wages). Decisions are based on this and nothing more.

Then mindless sheep throw every emotion they ever had at it as if were something other than that.

You are absolutely correct about boomers getting triggered about this topic.

The easiest way to explain this is that the NFL is a shared revenue sport. That means that every team gets an equal cut of the profits each year. This incentivizes them to drive up revenue by making the game as appealing as possible. The easiest way to make something appealing to the masses is to dramatize it.

Hence, as previous posters have referenced, Ray Lewis wins the Super Bowl in his final season. Maybe you don’t remember but, Payton Manning kneeled on the 50 yard line with 30 seconds left in the championship game forcing it into overtime. The Broncos were the number one seed that year. In fact if I remember correctly the Ravens had the worst record.

The Manning kneel that clearly caused Baltimore to win coupled with Ray Lewis retiring that year as well as the blackout (maximum drama) in the Super Bowl made me realize that it is in fact rigged. I was a ravens fan my entire life until that super bowl and I do not acknowledge it as a win.

Not rigged

Salty fans of team that constantly come up short have this mentality. I guess it helps them cope.

If there is money to be made, you best believe someone is rigging the odds.

This.

And Manning didn’t kneel to “rig it”. Nobody making more money than they could ever need is rigging anything.

imagine trying to tell a grown man wwe is scripted

it’s the same for nfl

i think refs interfere a bunch too like remember when nba refs were gambling like crazy

now you have grown men whose entire identity is based on dramas from their beloved nfl team… prob get off thinking of opposing qb smashing their girl too smh
