Anyone here ever tried non flavored protein powders??

Thinking about switching to flavorless to minimize additives but not sure if it‘a drinkable. If you have would you recommend, and which did you try?

I get dehydrated egg whites

dissolves almost instantly in water.

I eat non flavored all day. Bulk section at Winco. $8 per pound. Tastes fine to me. Not intense flavor, but ok. I add garlic to mine.

it's drinkable, but probably something far from your favourite to drink. if you add water, it's basically water with a funky texture.

gets old REAL fast and I went through 20 lbs of that stuff over the years.
My suggestion is to mix 1 scoop of unflavored protein with 1 scoop of a flavored one. That way you get a bit of taste

Whey concentrate tastes much better than isolate plain.

Casein is pretty rough plain.

Hyrdolized is a no go plain.
