How come Al Qaeda stopped suicide bombing?
The religion of peace has been out of the spotlight for the past few years.
During Obama's time it looked like there was a suicide attack every other month especially when ISIS was peaking.
But then it just kinda stopped and people stopped giving a chit about Muslims in general.
Where did they go?

It's still common in Europe, just last month we had a car bomb go off in Liverpool
I doubt it makes international news for two reasons:
Doesn't fit the mainstream narrative because it's not white right wingers that are doing it
Happens so often it became "normal" and people got used to it

A few things need to be set straight here. Al Qaeda wasn't behind the frequent civilian terrorist attacks done by so-called 'lone wolves'. That is the trucks speeding down malls, bombs in backpacks, Charlie Hedbo, Bataclan shooting massacre etc. They occurred during ISIS's reign and were either directly supported by ISIS or the wolves were taking up the fight after viewing online propaganda and/or interaction with online operatives.
ISIS got their ass kicked.
Al Qaeda was Bin Laden's gang which preceded ISIS and the war on terror. They went big, attacked warships, embassies, large skyscrapers, pentagon shaped intelligence centres etc.

Although not explicitly "Al Qaeda-related", there are still sectarian conflicts and religion-related conflicts and troubles in parts of the Middle East and Asia - some are still ongoing and aren't really in the forefront of international media coverage, so...you're probably not gonna know about it unless you go out of your way to find it and also look at local news stories (and then translate them if they're in another language).
