Bros Recommend me a beard trimmer

I need a quality beard trimmer (NOT hair clippers). I had a battery operated one for years that worked well, but recently it stopped recharging (long since out of warranty) and I dont know anything about fiddling with it to fix it. This is what I was using:


Not expensive, worked well. Just wondering if there is a trimmer that I HAVE to have and am missing out on. Reps to the best rec's

I have a Remington beard trimmer, it's the worst product I ever bought in my life.

Battery lasts literally no more than 3-5 minutes, 10 tops, while it should last at least 45 according to manual.

I wanted to break it in half a few times because it stopped working in the middle of my trimming session.

I will never buy a trimmer of any sort that runs on batteries, ded srs

Got a VS Sassoon All Rounder (kit that comes with a whole bunch of hair stuff) that I've been using for about 5 years now.

Battery powered but still going strong. Waterproof too so you can use it in the shower etc

The Philip Norelco ones are a beast. Just don't get water inside the battery. I did that once and it wouldn't shutoff for 12 hours srs. Had to buy a new one.

I wouldn't say it's a must have but it gets the job fairly well. My only gripe is that I repeatedly have to go over the same spot, sometimes in different directions because my hair isn't perfectly straight. I think that would happen on any trimmer I use, so I don't necessarily fault it. I just wanted one where I didn't have to change attachments and it's perfect for that.
