Is it harder to find a job as a white male these days?

Looking into a job in software sales, but heard all the companies are about diversity and not hiring the stereotypical white male salesperson. Is this true?

Well it's a situation where you obviously gotta be the best. Everyone else can coast off identity points, but you gotta actually score some real points.

Ya that makes sense, it’s definitely not an advantage

Sales is the great equaliser. Women, minorities and alphabet people might get interviews easier, as they have boxes to tick and KPIs to hit, but at the end of the day all the sales manager/director really care about is YTD.

Yes

Enjoy working at McDonalds

Now you’ll know the pain blacks have experienced all these years serving fast food while you watch them roll up in their Mercedes every morning to grab a coffee from you for the job you wanted.

Better get used to slinging drugs and running from the police cause that’s the only way you’ll be making a buck in this new system.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
