Massive water leak in my condo! Any plumbers here?

SO basically in the closet there exists the Air compressor and water heater and a bunch of PVC pipes. There is one PVC pipe that drips water into another pipe. This morning that pipe instead of dripping decided to shoot out causing a massive leak on the floor, luckily i was there and got a bucket underneath. However, What caused it? The front desk guy tried to shut off the water valve to my unit (which stopped the water from coming out of that pipe) but my water is still working in the kitchen bathroom, ect

not a plumber but maybe a clogged condensation pipe?

this.

that pipe is there for minimal drippings and act as an indicator that there is a clog. If it's full on blasting out, you have a big problem with an AC unit somewhere.

well, youre a big help. I just moved in 2 months ago, and tenants arent supposed to tamper with valves (which is located in the ceiling of the hallway)

maintenace guys are here. They say it connects to the AC units. They have no idea how the water spewed out like that since its based on pressure

he said this also happened to another unit and was due to someone dumping the water from their water heater upstairs
