I'm watching this tv show called Dopesick, it's pretty much pushing the idea that the opioid crisis in west Virginia and coal country is because of this evil family called the Sacklers who own Purdue Pharma.

It's not mentioning that addiction is a disease of despair. Globalization killed off millions of jobs destroying countless families and ravaging middle America.

The Sacklers probably ticked off the wrong people and ended up taking the heat for opioid crisis but effing lol at thinking they're the end cause of the addiction crisis.

The tv show sucks as well. Effing lol at lesbian couple, mixed race couple, strong female character who take no chit from any man all within the first 20 minutes of the first episode.

reminded me of lots of little towns near me which were and still are plagued by drug addiction
