Is it implied if you work in an office or corporate setting, as a man, you're a pussy

Smacked me like a ton of bricks on Friday.

All the engineers were grouped up walking the job site I'm on, and all the inner city guys I work with were saying "here come all the pussies" as they walked by.

Then my buddies came with the jokes and laughter that all the engineers overheard, because my buddies were speaking blatantly loud, and not a word was said.

All the engineers just kept walking.

It was like the walk of shame on steroids.

Was like "Damn".

I'm sure the engineers give a chit about some dudes making a 1/3rd of their wage and living with room mates in their mid 30s.

We make decent money.

Mechanics clear six figures.

As long as you feel pride in what you do, there is no shame.
Engineers, real ones, usually are passionate about their field.
What does suck is if you end up in a so called "bull**** job" as a White collar.
That's when you feel useless.

Mechanic sounds like a good job and so do the trades tbh.

The office vs the field workers seems to always be on edge at the job site. It's like the blue collar workers think that the white collar guys look down on them. In my experience they typically don't, but it breeds some hostility when they automatically assume so. It's like an automatic defense mechanism to hate on them and attack their manhood.

The engineers kind of just roll with the punches because they understand the animosity in a way. The reality is not that the white collar guyscouldn'twork in the field. It's just that they were, typically, too smart to.

I'm in the city as well, and I'm white.

All the rich white people who live a few blocks down segregate hard.

I live on the multicultural side.

I personally don't identify with a lot of whites, specifically the middle class.

OP you really hurt my feelings when you said that. I wasn't even able to be there to hold my girlfriend's hand at her bull party because I was so distraught.

I agree with most of this, besides the last part.

My buddy has ran work for a while, and had made some of the engineers with the core look dumb as fuk.

to answer the question

no

not all white collar people are pussies

not even all STEMcels are , just a majority

there's actually a few white collar jobs you have to be alpha to have like a Lawyer , especially a criminal defense attorney or a prosecutor

IMO the GOAT job is ultra-skilled manual labor.
When you're still the field, but very advanced in your trade.
Like NCOs in the military.

Unless of course you have the intellect to be an engineer, etc. Few actually do.

You mean like most non-technical management roles? Can't stand people who complain about how hard those roles are. You're paid highly and delegate all the actual hard work to analysts. You're not the one fkn working weekends to finish off ridiculous amounts of work set to unreasonable deadlines.

It's because the tradies have a chip on their shoulder because they can't read or write and some have to work outside.

Not all, just some.

I haven't seen any hostility from engineers either if anything they have always been friendly to tradies.

The alcohol maxing probably has a role to play too.

A lot of officecels are arrogant and deserve being talked to like that from time to time. I mean you see it all the time here on the misc, even though it's trolling usually, there's some truth to it. White collar workers typically think they're better than blue collar workers.

On the other hand, your tradie friends are probably at least partially driven to act like that due to an inferiority complex, and a general insecurity about where they've ended up in life. Even if they have comparable salaries and a similar IQ, for lack of a better metric, the officecels were the ones that had the discipline to study for years for a put off reward. There's a higher barrier to entry than in the trades. I understand that union jobs are difficult to get and that kind of thing, but it's a different dynamic.
