Any major shoe brands ...

that look cool, are casual, andaren't fukking terrible for you to walk in? SRS

I kinda want barefoot shoes, but no clue if any stores (brick and mortar) carry casual versions of them.

I was just watching a video on converting Vans to barefoot, but the only issue is their forefoot size is small.

Most "cool" shoes suck to walk long distances in. Better go for a running shoe if you do a lot of walking/hiking but all these vans/adidas/blazers are only good to show how "awesome" you look in the gym.

aren't asics/ brooks/ saucony some of the more comfortable brands? nowadays there are prob lots of smaller brands like that too

ive noticed the new trend is huge gel soles. i bought some asics with a big sole like that. havent worn them that much but i noticed they were comfortable as chit

saucony triumph 18's are ones i have written down to try

I'm considering these if I can find them locally. Idc about their vegan, recycled, bs. I just care about comfort, minimal, and look good:

I’ve mainly been wearing low and mid Jordan 1’s with Hefe insoles lately, but Bruin Reacts are really comfortable as well for a minimal profile shoe.

Nike Court Vision Lows also have a smaller profile than AF1’s, and generally come with colorways that are clean / simple. Pull the stock insole, and drop in Hefe. Very comfortable.

NoBull also a bunch of simple designs. Have had a few of their shoes, and they are nice. Really enjoy their graphite trail runners.

Why do all these hippie dippy companies claim to make their products out of literal trash and then proceed to charge the same or more than manufacturers that use good new materials that were produced specifically for them?
I'm gonna start a restaurant that advertises only using vegan dumpster dived food and charge $50 an entree
