lol yeah, you're really stretching out them pixels. That 64 bit capacity being pushed to its absolute limit.

I kept an old 27" tube tv for many, many years to play my old systems on. It eventually died and now my SNES and N64 are permanently plugged into my normal flat screen TV. Not too HD so it doesn't look so bad. I also have a projector in my living room and got this adaptor so I can plug my N64 into it, project it onto my movie theater pull down screen, and plug the audio into my sound system. There have been numerous drunken Mario Kart 64 parties in there with friends.

how you hook it up to the TV also makes a huge difference

composite < S-video < SCART < SCART with RGB modded console

the latter is the best you can get out of a N64 natively
