What’s your reaction when people say “I don’t care what other people think.”

I think it’s complete bullsh!t and a coping mechanism for poor behavior.

Just like when promiscuous girls scream “Her past doesn’t matter!” Oh yea? Did Mother Theresa’s past not matter despite all the good she did? They only say that as a coping mechanism for regretful decisions.

Going back to the main topic, it’s gotta be more of a spectrum of how much people care about what others think of them. Some people care a lot, some people care a little, and some in the middle. I don’t think there’s anyone that 0% cares what other people think of them. Otherwise you’d stop doing a lotttt of the things you do. How are people able to lie to themselves to such a degree?

I don’t get it

Depends on the circumstances. I think some people Are secure with themselves and care less than others. Some people say that but cope hard. Some people are psychopaths and aren't capable of caring.

One of my exes had a tattoo written in script on her hip that said “I don’t regret anything I’ve ever done in my life.” Why would you need to tattoo that unless you actually do regret things in your life? Needless to say she was dumb as a box of rocks, but was submissive as fuk and always wanted sex, so like the typical guy, I rode that relationship out a bit, lol.

If some random broke fuk has an opinion of me, i honestly dont care because they are so beneath me that their thoughts on anything are irrelevant.

Ofc if its someone i respect, for example, i will care quite a bit and that will effect me.

I say that, and what I mean is I don't care whether people judge me for doing shyt the way I want. Not that I'm a degenerate and don't care what people think about me being a degenerate.

Like for example, driving a Kia.

Another example, I've recently started balding, instead of taking pills, or wearing hats or growing it long to hide the thinking, I just cut it all off preemptively.

I also don't wear fancy or brand-name clothing or shoes despite doing decently financially.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

I got a massive hair transplant I’ve talked about on the misc multiple times by one of the top surgeons in the US. Cost me 14k but my hairline is COMPLETELY restored 13 months in and every time I look in the mirror I can’t believe I got it all back. The rows are absolutely perfect and I’m getting more attention from girls at social events and the rare times i utilize dating apps.

I’m gonna need a 2nd transplant because I refuse to take that poison propecia/finasteride and am gonna continue balding behind the transplanted hair, (transplanted hair is DHT-resistant), but my surgeon recently did a 1 year evaluation and said I still have several thousand grafts left to harvest from since I chose the FUT “strip method” that left an ear to ear scar that’s easily concealable. He says if I get another 2,000 grafts done, I’ll be set for life and at worst, have to use that toppik hair building fibers that fill in the thin spots nicely.

I don’t get it
when i say that i usually do care but i think fk it - though when you truly do not care you don't even question yourself because it comes from the heart, a place of love if you will.

It’s advertising, and advertising is typically used for things that aren’t true.

Think about it. Everything that you know, deep-down, in an unquestioning sort of fashion, you never feel the need to advertise. The guy who is truly a hard man will not make a song and dance about it, because heIShard, in every fibre of his being.

So, it’s like a compensatory sorta thing. An attempt to make up for what you lack.

This is not about people telling me or you what to do, it is about what people "think" of you. Very different.

It actually is through spiritual enlightenment - you basically become super focused on your own experience and feel so blissful that you no longer consider other people, but to maintain such a state of being, you must have good intentions..
