Ground turkey, corn and potato chowder/10

If you're looking for something different, this is delicious.
Here's the recipe for anyone who wants to try it...
Little over 1 lb ground turkey (cook on stove till pink is gone)
8-10 red potatoes
small bag frozen corn (4 cups)
4 cups chicken broth
1.5 cups heavy cream
4 rounded tablespoons butter or margarine
Little over ¼ cup flour
(seasonings to taste. I never measure)
salt
pepper
onion powder
garlic powder
paprika
thyme
parsley flakes
Throw everything in slow cooker. Cook on high for 3 hrs and switch to low for 2 more hrs. The longer it cooks the thicker the broth gets…can throw in a bit more flour and butter/margarine if needed.
For dessert I made a pumpkin cake with a brown sugar glaze on top. No pics because it's already gone.
Happy Monday!

Kind of activates some type of tribal/primite instinct inside of me, like having that meal inside a cave next to a fire while my naked lady is passed out after sex.

"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

Interdasting. I'm not a fan of corn so I may figure out some other veggie to put in there. Looks good either way!

Looks/ sounds good. I've been just half ass improvising soups with my slow cooker lately, and they've been turning out good (in my opinion anyway). Easy as fuk, and fairly cheap, way to make a lot of food at once. Also, pretty easy to make something low calorie that still tastes good (I'm cutting).
