Alright, so I had this thought. I'm a 30 year old male, in peak male physique with no kids (total chad). If there were to be an instance where the U.S. needed to implement the draft, I'd be a 1st round draft pick. (DED FKN SRS)

I'm all about supporting our military and fighting for our freedom, but tbh, I'm not trying to die overseas for a war that has nothing to do with us.

I say we allow prisoners (who meet certain conditions) to have the opportunity toEARNtheir freedom by going to fight in the war for us. I imagine 90% of lifers would see this as their only chance of ever getting out of prison and would jump on the opportunity. We could have an NFL style combine where they run the 40, see how many reps of 225lbs they can do, etc. The highest performers get drafted.

This would be a win/win as the U.S. instantly gets some more alpha soldiers and the inmates get the opportunity to right their wrongs and earn their freedom by serving their country.

Not to mention some of our country's best shooters are behind bars right now, milking the system. I say we allow them the chance to show us their skills on the battlefield.

We're talking about natural born killers here. No training required for some of the unhinged murders. Besides, there could be stipulations behind what prisoners could/could not be released on this program. And I suppose we could have them all stick to their own units. Like have the freed prisoners have their own units and our regular troops have their own units

What if we allow the prisoners to have their own unit where it consists of entirely prisoners and maybe a couple of commanders who weren't prisoners?
