It's Friday, and just realized when this show came out it used to be one of my traditions to watch it on Fri, and sometimes Sat Nights.

Would pick up some beers, and watch the show for 3 hrs or sometimes go over to a friends house, and do the same.

It brought some lulz at times, and the hosts Sticks and Tommy Morris Jr were cool.

I think that since some criminals on the show aren't white, it was a raycis show and cancelled.

Yeah unfortunately it got cancelled in 2020, because of the George Floyd Chauvin death, and all the #BLM protests smh.It's crazy, because one of the reason it got cancelled was because of George Floyd's death, and all of the protests.

Pretty much saying all cops are bad and/or racist.

The funny thing is I watched this show religiously for awhile, and I remember almost every episode had equal representation of race when it came to the suspects.

Always saw white, black, and hispanic suspects all the time. Lol rarely or never saw any Asian suspects though lmao.

pluto tv has 5 or 6 seasons of COPS on there. I've been watching that lately.

It was better than the new episodes of cops.

That guy John Bunnell got famous after an episode of COPS that he was in, because he had the "Hollywood" looks, voice, etc., and then the same thing happened for "Sticks" aka Lt. Sean Larkin. He is not bald and not a manlet, so maybe you got the wrong guy. Google him and you will see. You must be thinking of someone else. Sticks was the guy who dated (or still is) Lana Del Rey.

But yeah, it was a great show, and really did a good job of showing the challenges of the job. I thought that went a long way to helping the public understand and have some empathy for law enforcement. Too bad that television network couldn't see that and muster the courage to continue the show. Definitely they don't have courage to do the very job that their show was all about.
