Former NSA John Bolton: Putin waiting for Trump NATO withdrawal in 2nd Term.
https://www.businessinsider.com.au/b....com&r=US&IR=T
A pretty chilling counterfactual forms here. If Trump had his second term, it looks almost certain Ukraine would fall with America on Russia's side. It's entirely possible this invasion took place with Trump in office, US out of NATO etc. Also chilling is that Putin had been planning this for 4 years, Trump impeached for withholding aid to Ukraine, Manafort working for pro-Russian government in Ukraine....makes me wonder if the "Ukraine has secrets on your opponents" thing was put in Trump's head by Putin. The info drop on Hilary came from Putin, which changed the 2016 race along with help from Russian troll armies, then Ukraine is meant to have info on Biden's son?
I close by reminding you that leaving NATO wasn't a term 2 thing for Trump. It was something he didn't complete in term 1.

Bolton made the remarks during a virtual event with the Washington Post on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, where Bolton mostly offered critiques of current President Joe Biden’s foreign policy in the region. At the end of the event, he was asked by the Post’s Michael Duffy about how close Trump came to withdrawing the country from NATO, a translantic security alliance that includes the United States, Canada, and most of Europe.
“I thought he put his foot over it, but at least he didn’t withdraw then,” said Bolton, who wrote in his memoir about Trump’s consideration of withdrawing from NATO in 2018. “In a second Trump term, I think he may well have withdrawn from NATO. And I think Putin was waiting for that.”

Trump viewed NATO as a liability during his presidency, believing that European countries were not paying enough of their fair share of the burden of providing defense to the alliance. Bolton, a State Department official during the George W. Bush administration, was brought on to be Trump’s national security advisor in 2018 only to be ousted a year and a half later.
Bolton’s latest comments come just days after he told Newsmax that Trump “barely knew where Ukraine was,” pushing back on a host who said the former president had been “tough on Russia.”
NATO withdrawal thing makes sense now. Trump was wanting to leave NATO and strong-arm Zelensky into giving him something that he wouldn't give and likely didn't exist.Bolton’s latest comments come just days after he told Newsmax that Trump “barely knew where Ukraine was,” pushing back on a host who said the former president had been “tough on Russia.”

I would just like to note I correctly called out Bolton ,as a conspirator, at the beginning of this thread when everyone thought I was being silly at first……

I’m gonna go ahead and quote that first post I made in cited thread for research purposes
Can't let a lib own the thread
Bring the popcorn.....
Pretty tough spot for the democrats, almost have no choice now with base demand- and could backfire enough to virtually strip all their power.
Trump screwed up hiring Bolton, and Bolton's buddy Romney has been sitting aside with good the entire time forming a senate impeachment coalition.
Bolton was the mole here, and the catalyst to all this

Trump wanted NATO members to contribute more of their GDP to the organization. He wanted a stronger and more effective NATO that could actually do its job.
Edit: if it was easier for Putin to invade during Trumps term then he would have done it.

It's a hot night. The mind races. You think about your knife: the only friend who hasn't betrayed you, the only friend who won't be dead by sunup. Sleep tight mates, in your quilted chambray night shirts.

It would take too long to correct everything in the OP, but it is entirely false.
Regarding NATO, trump wanted the other countries to pull their weight. They weren’t spending the agreed upon amount of their gdp toward defense, and as in all deals, the US taxpayer was being hosed. The threat of leaving was to get the other countries to pull their weight.
Putin didn’t get Clinton info… the claim is that Russia hit dnc emails came from crowdstrike… a ukraine company headed by a former Clinton ally in the intel community. This person said under oath he had no direct evidence Russia hacked the dnc. The dnc emails were an inside job and not a remote hack. The narrative was convenient for the trump Russia investigation, however. Trump had every right to ask ukraine about crowdstrike.
Chalupa in the dnc also helped craft the black ledger in ukraine on manafort in an effort to tarnish trumps campaign. It proved to be entirely false… just like Clinton’s Alfa bank story and the dossier she paid for.
Ukraine is a breeding ground for the US establishment.
The fantasy in the OP is so far from reality
