Swolen Ankles / Feet Suddenly? Wtf?
Is this Worthy of going to the ER?
I heard it can be a sign of a kidney problem or diabetes or some sht..
what do?
Moved far from my (retarded) family doctor and recently tried to get a new one near me and they said 3 month waiting list for it..
not sure if its worth going to er for.. or what on earth it is..
Could it be related to me using standing desk all day every day now?
I feel fine but feet and ankles look weird..
I can barely feel my ankle bone since its so puffed up.. da fuk?

how long have you had it? swollen ankles/feet can be a sign of something being wrong with the heart, kidneys, and liver. can also be as a result of certain meds such as amlodipine, which is used for high blood pressure.
if it's been happening for a while, you should probably visit your dr for a blood test.

You've got me worried OP.
If this was a one off and you hadn't been having so much weird poor health stuff going on I wouldn't be immediately concerned.
But you have posted lots of problems. So I would err towards getting checked out. And be sure that they have access to your medical records or take recent stuff with you if you need to.

By my standards.. I guess I feel ok otherwise today.. but I heard this is a symptom of kidney or heart probs

Could be a lot of things, if it's isolated to your joints and seems inflammatory or trauma/injury related I wouldn't be as worried.
But if it's excess fluid and depending on where that excess fluid is, then it can be your kidneys, heart, or liver.
Swelling in your ankle is such a generalized and not so specific descriptor, but Im sure there must be more to this. Someone said you've been having a lot of weird random stuff, don't gloss the details, sometimes they're related

I can't really add anything other than I'm on my feet all day at my standing desk or checking on production which requires waking. I've never had swollen ankles. Best of luck brah. I personally would want to get it checked out just for piece of mind.

the guy just checked it and said maybe it was the stand up desk and perhaps I should alternate my sitting and standing instead of just standing all day. I asked about kidney and heart possibilities and he said youre too young, its unlikely. Checked blood pressure and said it was "borderline" as in just at the max limit it should be.
mentioned high sodium diets and some other basic stuff. If it gets worse or leg starts swelling too or chest pain starts, should go to er.
donno. Can just hope its the standing thing but it got pretty bad. Shoes barely fit on that night (though, no pain or anything)
just another thing to this list of health probs ive started developing the past year. Will continue to monitor

Probably the standing desk-need to be careful though, my mum has ended up with Lymphadema & it is a bitch-she has to keep her legs elevated most of the day or there is endless blood & fluid crap pouring out of her legs that stinks, as the fluid pools & the skin breaks.
