Pure bloods... navigating new job opportunities?
I notice some job postings have "must be fully vaxxed" in their descriptions. Some postings don't say chit and tell you when you show up to an interview. My last interview the fukking receptionist told me I had to be vaxxed if I'm there longer than 10 minutes and asked if I comply with the policy. My current workplace requires anybody over a certain level to be vaxxed (but not the customer facing frontline employees LMAO). I'm a tradie and figured we would be sort of immune to this crap but no. What the fuk do you do here if you want to move up and out? I'm seeing wages all over ballooning and I kinda want out, seems options are limited. I feel like this chit will eventually fade away but just today a facility I've entered before no problem wanted to test me for the coof on the spot. They just fukking started this policy. This is clown world....
Anyway, I'm considering "religious exemption" once I get an offer. Wat do misc?

Greetings Johnez, last we spoke you were helping me with scouting job opportunities (bev warehouse, etc). I would say get the religious exemption once you got an offer, it worked for multiple of my relatives. 100% success rate so far

Don't be bitch OP, tell them the truth. Tell them you're a true blood or whatever you call it.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Are you a carpenter, any good with home remodels?
TONS of money to be made. You can start your own, or join a small business/crew doing them. My buddy is pulling in about 7k a week

I've had serious discussions with my wife on that and would have been prepared to get fired over it. I'd still prefer not to vax.Don't be bitch OP, tell them the truth. And you could give your company the opportunity to match the other places pay.

Makes me wonder if these fools will still have this requirement in a year or twos time? Especially when there are pills for treatment and the vax only lasts 4 weeks or whatever.

I work for a tradie company but not actually a tradie. Sometimes it's not the company themselves but it is the customers they work with that demand certain working conditions. for example one of our customers is responsible for like 2/3rds of our revenue, they wanted our workers to be vaxxed in order to work on the job site. not sure what happened to those that refused, maybe they got sent to a different job site.
The company I work for is based in America so they didn't want to make vaccines mandatory so they went the vax or test route. So our subsidiary based in Canada had to follow the same thing. But our major customers are Canadian companies so basically they are following govt guidelines which is basically get vaxxed or phuck off.
I'm thankful af I was able to avoid this clown world nonsense srs. not sure what I would do. I can only imagine it's worse up here and almost every job will require new employees to be fully vaxxed.
