2:38 He punches the **** out of them. I don't feel this impact in modern movies.

The Thai movies with that kickboxer dude were similar to the Hong Kong aesthetic - dudes name was Tony something

Ong Bak blew me away. Such awesome and crazy fight scenes. You really feel the strikes.

Iko Uwais, Joe Taslim, Tony Jaa, Scott Adkins fight scenes tend to be very good.

After watching both "The Raid" movies, I became a huge fan of Iko Uwais. The second is even more wild and intense from a action standpoint. Aside from the Netflix specials (Wu assassin and the movie for it), anything with him in it is gold.

Tony Jaa is a relatively close second IMO. Honorable mention is Scott Atkins, he's probably the closest thing to an 80's action hero as we're going to get. It's too bad he's stuck in the B movie bracket.

Edit- just partially watched OP's link, pretty wild stunts and action. Going to try to find the movie online later.
