Tent on the beach

Supposed to camping soon and wanted to know if anyones had experience with ptching a tent on the beach? I imagine theyre hard to anchor in the sand. Was thinking about taking some 45lb plates to keep it weighted down, srs. Any advice?

Dunno what you're on about OP. I pitch tents on the beach with ease every time a HBB walks past me.
