Tan on tan car interior is the worst choice you can make in life

Looking at older luxury SUVs for an extra household vehicle and I sometimes see the most hideous tan on tan interiors that make it an instant no for me. Did people actually think this looked good at the time? The whole dash is tan on top of everything else. Absolutely disgusting.
