Legit laughed out out.

My Voskhod and Personna blades are the only thing I'm stocked up on. I don't give a chit where they're from or who makes em really, paying less than $0.10 a blade for a good shave is enough for me. It literally cost me $4.15 in blades to shave an entire year with Voskhods.

Edit-disregard the Chechen in my avi.

Funny but dragged on too long.

The other thing is- f*ck ALL these companies and their politics etc; even if I share the same views I don’t give a f*ck.

Just make quality products/ provide good service at reasonable prices. That’s it, that’s all consumers should want.

I would say most people on the right aren't very political, they're living their life. It's like *not* being a vegan, no need to spread the word really.

I get it. The problem is you cant just ignore politics. Every time it expands and we're too busy/disinterested to fight it theres no going back. In my opinion our best course is to do away with this retarded antiquated system entirely but absent that, wrestling with it constantly is an absolute responsibility

They cater to the left out of fear.

Interesting to see the left's negative reaction to this new venture. Their canned phrase used to always be, "you don't like political censorship, create your own internet".

Tried Harry's once kind of ****, blades too close together and got clogged easily. Would be fine if you shaved every day I suppose.

I tried Harry's razors shopping around and wasn't impressed at all. I'm not very hairy fortunately, but I still like a good shave. I guess that explains why the Harry's were struggling with male hair versus what is probably their new -ahem- demographic.

I agree. I don't wantanypolitics involved when I'm simply trying to buy everyday products.

It also comes across as though these companies are all living up to that stupid idea of "corporations are people" far too much, even if that wasn't necessarily their intention. Either way, if a corporation wasa person, yeah, of course they would be the most insufferable, wishy-washy, and parasitic filth imaginable that is far too desperate trying to appeal to whatever they construe as a popular stance to get into people's wallets.

I'd frankly prefer a faceless, soulless corporation with political ambiguity (i.e. everybody's money is equal, shrug) instead of these two-faced corpo-kunts abusing their resources and position to inject whatever they decide to be "their" politics into everything. It's already been provably dangerous path set simply by the monopolistic nature of many of the highest profile corporations, which also have such an unfathomable cache of wealth and access to platforms that it's disgustingly dystopic.

Oh, but you can be guaranteed that those politics will vanish the second they try selling in China.

It's a razor.

Marketing working on one of the most insignificant products out there. A razor from 1860 works just as good as a razor from today.

Every time I look into a "proper" straight razor, the price turns me away because dropping $100 on one versus so many other things and, well, the other things win.

That said, I do use a straight razor that takes disposable blades for cleanup and my throat/neck, but they're too much of a pain in the arse to do my entire face because I have high cheekbones and shallow cheeks, and straight edge or even an old school safety razor have a hard time navigating all of that versus a flexible head.

That's what I once thought, but try out a few to compare and you'll quickly discover a razor isnotjust a razor with a different brand on it.

To use Harry's 5-blade as an example, it struggled to give me a close shave even after a few passes to the point of "why even bother?," whereas a BIC Flex 5-blade titanium was closer in one stroke (BIC also have to nice double edge razors, although I like Derby Extra a bit more for my use case). It can be different for everyone, especially based on their hair, but it's absolutely worth trying more than one brand and calling it a day. And in the comparison example above, the BIC are substantially cheaper and widely available. Likewise, some good ol' Barbasol is hands down better than the shaving gel Harry's tries to pass off, again being stupid cheap and ubiquitous.

I don't know why people make such a big deal about razors where they need to order them online. Just get that chit from the grocery store like everything else

I think this is more about the commercial than the razor.

That being said- my best guess is this razor probably sucks.

Trying to capitalize on the anti-woke ****. Just as cringe as the leftist woke bull****. I just use a razer blade with a handle. Easy enough and cheap as ****
