Squat shoes are great

I've been lifting in chuck taylors for years. Chucks work great overall and are pretty durable. However, I bought my first pair of squat shoes and I like them a lot. Even though I hit parallel depth with chuck taylors, I feel a lot more controlled and stable in my feet and knees with squat shoes. Also, my squat shoes feel like they focus a bit more of the training on the lower part of my quads.
If you've never tried them and you have been curious, I would definitely recommend picking up a pair and trying them out.

I usually finish my workouts with cardio, can you easily run in those too?

Chucks are the worst fukking lifting shoe in existence.


The fact that they have hung around in gyms as long as they have is evidence that humans can in fact be functionally retarded.

No. They all have a .5-.75 inch raised heel.
Adipowers, sbd knee sleeves, inzer belt...I look like im in the IPF to squat in some commercial gym lol.
