Man is worried he could face charges for tackling shoplifter as shoplifters go free

Kevin tackled and put one of the shoplifters under citizens arrest, stating he "had enough" of shoplifters. On the other hand, the two shoplifters are off scott free (even though one tried to put Kevin in a headlock).
According to police, Walgreens decided not to bring charges against the suspect and his alleged accomplice.

Now he could be facing charges:
“I don’t encourage anyone to ever get involved in a perceived crime in progress, because they don’t have the tools that a police officer would have if they were on scene,” retired LAPD sergeant Cheryl Dorsey said.

He did good leading an example for others to see he solved the problem and made the store look bad

Only takes one to spark a proper swing back

It's like that guy in New York who shot those 5 muggers on the subway. He was hailed as a hero and I think was found not guilty. Though I think he lost a civil court case.
