Why are "3 star" hotels such chit? (travel brahs)
Been traveling alot for work lately and staying at "3 star" hotels.
Brb Marriot, Hilton, Hyatt, hamptons aka "luxury hotels" charging upwards of $175/night for a hotel that looks like it was designed by my grandmother.
Brb claims 3 star hotel yet has asbestos ceilings, probably mold in walls, and the same old outdated cum stained furniture, carpets and wallpaper from the 80s. But at least they have a couple 20yr old treadmills, free eggs and biscuits at 7am, and a conference room (which no one has used in 25 years)
Brb can spend $90/night at a 1.5 star la quinta and get literally the same fukkin thing.
These fukers don't realize how outdated their business model and hotels are.

If you're traveling in remote areas then you're going to find dilapidated hotels since those are your only options.

Most people don't know what the star rating is for.
https://www.webstaurantstore.com/blo...explained.html
1 star - so you are traveling and just want to catch some z's before moving on.
2. star - one night stay.
3 star - staying for business or some other activity where you are just staying there but not going to be there much.
4 star - Events there where the hotel will the the activity but doing other things.
5 star - honeymoon or special occasion or you are just CEO10K/Day
