Is dating really that fukt these days?

Or is it due to people have low self esteem? Too high of standards?

Has social media (Insta) created tons of people who aren't going to settle for anything less than "dream"

I don't go out of my way to date or even 'shoot my shot' -- but it just seems people are so closed off to conversation in general.

People don't talk face to face anymore.

Most guys because of social media think they should be dating 8's when they are a 5. Girls can do this, guys can't and it creates a major rift.

Relationships are considered disposable by many more people.

Yeah the combination of people inflating themselves (narcisissm) plus hookup culture, and the changes in economic circumstances where people don't reallyneedto date, marry, or otherwise settle like previous generations have done. They all contribute to the current state of the dating market.

I met my GF back around 2013 when things were still fairly normal i can't imagine dating nowadays with IG, online dating, hookup culture, metoo, feminism and all of the other stuff

Like i legit don't know how you guys do it

But then I'll have days where I talk to everybody and I think it's different

It's all mindset imo. Not to say that ugly brahs won't have a more difficult time. But you have to make the best of what you have anyways
