When was the last time you performed in front of an audience?

This year?
School days?

I performed a short solo at a concert last night. Also starred in numerous stage plays and musicals from 2014 to 2019. It would good to get back into 'regular' stage acting.

A long time ago, like a decade. I'm primarily focused on sitting in my studio and love the creation process of writing and recording more than performing. I don't really have an ego and don't feel the need to acquire validation and praise from people I don't know. Having said that, I might challenge myself to try it some time soon.

Congrats on your solo, OP, hope that it went well! 3 years ago, I gave a presentation on corporate ethics in front of the company's legal and compliance c-suite. The presentation was focused around the philosophy of companies performing due diligence to make sure that before putting out products or committing to whatever production system they will use, it creates little to no harm environmentally, socially, etc.

It was challenging being in a bright auditorium with a body microphone and using a remote to shift through slides, but, I got a high off of it and have been taking on similar opportunities in a virtual settings as often as possible. Looking forward to doing these in-person again once more people start coming into the office/venues/etc.

I did a 5 minute Zoom presentation to the Appeals board a few weeks ago to get a development approved in my city. It was for a 7 person committee, and I'm sure there were also 20 people in the audience.

Went pretty damn well. I was a bit nervous before, as it was the first thing I'd done in a while like it. But I really killed it. Will do a lot more in the future.

I can imagine that you would really need to know your stuff and be genuinely passionate to be able to pull that off. I would be nervous that I would forget my chit and start stammering etc. but of course it's all about practice and experience.

My best man speech for my brother’s wedding in front of like 300 people 12 years ago.

Was nervous as fuk but I nailed it and made everyone laugh. 5 seconds in, all my anxiety went away.

Around 4th grade in the mid 80's but I always lip-synched during the school plays.
