Bit of scripture on Sunday to help you through the week
We keep lifting and getting stronger on the outside, but it can be hard to stay strong on the inside
Temptations, insecurities, personal struggles, it seems sometimes like the world wants us to just break down and give up
No matter how hard things get, remember that God has a plan for you, plans for you to hope and prosper and not to harm you
---
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11
---
No matter how dark things may seem, there is always hope for a brighter day
We can take refuge in the Lord, and He will give us the strength to do absolutely anything
---
"Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"
Matthew 19:26
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
Thessalonians 5:11
"But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble."
Psalm 59:16
"The LORD is my strength and my defense ; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him."
Exodus 15:2
---
Let's encourage each other and build each other up, it feels good and it makes a better life for all of us
The world encourages us to take the easy way out, to give up, to fall for our temptations, to be defeated and dejected so that we might serve the world
As weight lifters, we know that the hard way is often the best way, and that sticking to your goals and working hard brings real results
If we call on the Lord for strength, He will grant it. If we call for wisdom, for guidance, for healing, for mercy, we will receive it in full
So if you are feeling discouraged or uncertain in your life, don't give up, the Lord knows your pain and wants you to be okay
You are loved, God loves you, I love you, and so do all my brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ
God bless
