Cant say I've ever been hugely effected by a celeb death but 2 come to mind where I was a little bummed.

-Luc Bourdon (NHL prospect) crashed his dirt bike and died. Had huge potential. Jist a young kid with his whole life ahead of him.
And
-Kobe Bryant. Not even a basketball fan but Kobe is an icon.. seemed like a really intelligent cool guy. And the fact his helicopter crashed with his kid and multiple other kids.... sad stuff man. And he was freshly retired. Was finally about to truly enjoy his hard work with his kids with no more work responsibilities.

Kobe was kiboshed because he was going to help start that Saudi basketball league when his handlers told him not to, but planned on doing it anyway.

Tom Petty. His music has been a huge and consistent part of my life since middle school. Almost felt like I lost a friend.

I tear up watching this:

Anthony Bourdain and its not even close

Cooking shows have been complete chit since him

He is most to credit for advancing food in America, his show and introducing foreign and rare foods the way he did to the masses was a game changer in the culinary scene in America.

Only one that kind of made me sad was Mac Miller because I grew up listening to him and related to his music a lot and also relapsed on opiates and so that was kind of a wake up call.

Couldn't believe it. Death from falling from a height in his own backyard wtf. I was watching his videos every week on YouTube and suddenly he's gone.

Anthony Bourdain and Robin Williams. On the music side, Chris Cornell, Scott Weiland, Tom Petty and Prince.

Edit: I’ll add Philip Seymour Hoffman, because he was damn talented.
