Fuark yeah boyo, I saw some guys stacking one time when I was a kid and thought it was cool as fuark

Then 6 years ago I saw some guys on a big tower and was like “I wanna do that”

So I went for it, and got put right in a steel crew that stacked the big towers. Have had some really sick experiences and a solid resume now

Right now I’m doing 5 - 6 taking my weekends off but it depends on the scope of work

We’re just swapping out an 8’ dish that got fukd by ice but some jobs you’re on for 2 weeks straight

Tower stacks I’m usually 3 - 5 weeks on 1 week off til the tower is done

Eff a whole of of that.

Just had some high winds tear some of my roof molding off last week and about chit my pants climbing up there with a hammer to tack it back in place. I laid prone on the roof and stayed as flat as I could, just barely peaking over the edge to see what I was nailing. My home is a split-level, maybe 25 feet high.

Heights are not it mayne.

Desk jobs are comfortable and pay really well but I do miss working outside with my hands

Trying to get back to that by buying some land and returning to farming like my ancestors
