Public stupidity

Patient comes into the pharmacy to get the 2nd covid booster.

She askes: "Do I need to get the 2nd booster? is it necessary?"

I answer: "It is available if you want or need it but I cannot determine that for you. I encourage you to talk to your doctor about it"

Doctor calls me: "Did you tell my patient not to get the covid vaccine?"

WTF is wrong with these stupid people?
Trust me, I am a pharmacist.

LMAO should have asked the doctor to detail how the woman detailed the conversation. As if she walked in knowing she needed it, asked for it and you refused. If that was the case why would she be referring to her doctor?

This is the sequence.

She came in for the shot. Asked the question, I answered. She ended up wanting the shot and I gave it to her. Doctor calls and asks if I was telling her not to get the shot. I told the doctor that I did not discourage nor encourage to get the shot but that she needs to talk to the doctor first if she is not sure about it.

Not sure where she thought I said, "DO NOT GET THE SHOT"... what a dumb b!*ch.
Trust me, I am a pharmacist.
